July 2021 Press Release
CARBON FILTER TECHNOLOGY EXPERT JOINS GLANRIS AS REGIONAL SALES MANAGER
Isaac Post brings over twenty years of carbon filter sales expertise
Olive Branch, Mississippi--July 18, 2021 - Glanris today announces the addition of Isaac Post as Regional Sales Manager. A respected product innovator and co-inventor of carbon foam and activated carbon filter technology, Post adds decades of expertise to the cleantech startup.
"Isaac brings to our team decades of experience in selling specialized carbons," says Glanris CEO Bryan Eagle. "His contacts and experience will help us further accelerate our growth and position our biocarbon filtration media as the preferred product for economical metal and organic removal."
A native of West Virginia, Isaac is a graduate of Salem University with a Natural Science degree. Working for Calgon Carbon Corporation, Jacobi Carbons, and GE Water, and consulting for Haycarb USA, Post's experience spans the breadth of the industry. Isaac has been instrumental in translating complex data for business use from the most prominent manufacturers to niche applications. He is exceptionally skilled in bringing innovative products to market.
Glanris produces the first biocarbon™ filtration media to remove metals and organics from water and wastewater. An environmentally sustainable process, Glanris uses a proprietary technology that transforms rice, an abundant agricultural waste product, into a high-performance filtration media.
Post's accomplishments include tens of millions of dollars in sales, industry innovations, and multiple patents in a career devoted to carbon and filter technologies. He is now poised to bring the world's first green, hybrid water filtration media to new markets.
Glanris’ biocarbon can provide significant economic advantages to the market with two filtration capabilities in a single media. Because it's made in the US, it does not incur high import tariffs. A low-density product, the new media also provides more material per pound than other water filtration media.
As a recent Forbes article noted, Glanris has found its initial market with "U.S. industrial clients looking to green their credentials with sustainable solutions." Now the company is preparing to enter the international and residential markets, where Post, who has traveled throughout the country ensuring water and air cleanliness for hundreds of thousands of residents, will play a crucial role.
Post notes, "It's exciting to be on the forefront of a new technology that will benefit generations to come."
